Custom of the Week

It says Custom of the Week, but I think it’s been more like 2 months since I last updated. I’ll do better, I promise.

Last round’s winner, with 1027 votes of 2019 cast is Davis “Proctris” Ellerie‘s LCAD’d Nebulon B Medical Frigate. Round of applause for David!

Who will be this week’s winner? An AT-TE, A-Wing, mini-fied Death Star trench, and a micro Cloud City model are up for the title this week. Let your voice be heard and vote today!

LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy 1.1M Copies Sold

Gamespot announced earlier today that 1.1 million copies of LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy has been sold since the game’s release last Tuesday. The game is available on nearly every current gaming platform: Gamecube, PS2, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, Xbox, Xbox 360, and PC. Why it’s not available for Mac is beyond me. The game is made for 8 different gaming platforms and LucasArts and Traveller’s Tales couldn’t get a Mac version made? I guess the Mac faithful will have to wait for Aspyr to pick up the slack.

2007 Set Images

It’s with great hesitancy and caution that I post this.

Yesterday, on the forums, a reader discovered that a UK website had the January 2007 assortment available for preorder. Not only that, they also have images! Visit Forbidden Planet International to take a gander.

New Poll

LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy will be released tomorrow at a video game outlet near you. Are you as excited as I am? More? Less? To be honest with you, based on the footage I’ve seen thus far, I’m not too impressed. But I’ll reserve my final judgement ’til after I play through it.

As for the last poll, Will you be getting 10175 Vader’s TIE Advanced?, the majority of the votes tended to stay in the middle between Yes, eventually and No, too expensive, with only a fraction of you having pre-ordered it. With S@H chargin shipping AND tax, I don’t blame you. Here are the complete numbers.

  • Yes, already ordered! – 114
  • Yes, eventually – 467
  • Maybe – 419
  • No, too expensive. – 433
  • No, don’t like it – 372
