LEGOLand Master Model Builder Search
Man, a full week goes by with no news? Tsk tsk. I should be fired. Maybe I can apply for the LEGOLand Master Model Builder Job instead.

Glorious Kyle from our forums is the big winner of January’s Webcomic! contest. His winning webcomic was both funny and beautifully photographed. Great job! For all his efforts, Kyle wins a hand-drawn character of his choice done by none other than our very own Greg Hyland! Congrats, Kyle!
EDIT by Greg: Here’s a look at Kyle’s prize! It used up all my black ink!
Just finished uploading the last set of pics. Follow the links below to check out what LEGO has in store for 2006.
Yahoo reports that LEGO and Lucasfilm Ltd. have reached an agreement to extend the license through 2011 . The license was originally set to expire next year in 2007. We get four more years of LEGO Star Wars goodness. Hopefully, during that time, we’ll see some Death Star playsets.
Almost a week with nothing new to report. Well, I’ll call this the calm before the storm. I get on a plane tomorrow morning to head to Toy Fair. I’m fighting off a head cold so the flight should be oh so fun. Anyways, I’ll be covering the show as best I can and hope to bring you all sorts of pictures. At this point in time, we’re already aware of the two sets coming out later this year (Jabba’s Sail Barge and the Imperial Star Destroyer); who knows what else LEGO has up their collective sleeve for the Star Wars line.
I finished uploading all whopping 14 entries to the Webcomic! contest and you can now visit the Webcomic! flickr gallery. After you’re done reading them, visit the forum thread to cast your vote. Voting will end on or around 7 February 2006.
Update: There are 4 lights! I mean, there are now 14 entries to browse through. I accidentally left off Lights’ entry. And if you can quote me a part of this post and where it came from, I’ll send you a free mini set. Email me your entry.
Update 2: Okay, Ryan was the first person to send me the correct answer. Google makes things too easy sometimes…. the Ultra-fast Lightning-round Giveaway is now closed, so don’t email me. Really. Oh yeah, and in case you were wondering what the contest was: the quote is “There are 4 lights!” and it is from one of the better Star Trek: The Next Generation episodes, “Chain of Command”.
