General Purpose: To inspire and develop the builders of tomorrow by ensuring the LEGO Brand, Vision and Values are exemplified in all store operations and guest interactions.
Primary Responsibilities
Get Results – Demonstrate a strong urge for excellence and work towards planned targets and goals while overcoming obstacles, setbacks, and uncertainty. Monitor cash, inventory, product turn, shrink and maintain sound operational practices.

Leadership – Define and develop a team through active engagement, effective communication, collaboration, coaching and performance management. Inspire the team to provide a unique customer experience that sets LEGO apart from other specialty retail shops by ensuring continual product training
Collaboration – Work closely with your store team as well as the Brand Retail Operations Team, District Manager, Merchandising, Marketing, Creative Visual team and Human Resources to maximize store performance and sales.
Guest Service – Ensure the 5 points of a sale with a goal of completing all monthly mystery shops with a score of 100%. Inspire and coach associates to provide exceptional customer service and communicate their own personal passion for the LEGO product by providing quality product knowledge. Model the behavior you want to see and be the expert in providing a Signature LEGO experience.
People Development – Articulate what “good” looks like and inspire individuals to be the best they can be utilizing the LEGO Core Competencies and the LEGO standard of guest service. Target and hire individuals motivated to fulfill the LEGO customer service standard and who share a passion for the LEGO product and its fans. Conduct effective interviews that reveal top retail talent and oversee subsequent on boarding and training.
Qualifications: Requires at least 2 years of management experience in a high volume, multi-unit retail management environment. Must have previous experience with and knowledge of:

* point of sale systems
* recruitment
* selection
* training
* team leadership
* space management
* visual merchandising
* performance management/conflict resolution
* budgeting
* P&L statements
* Margins
* Scheduling
* loss prevention
* cash management

Effective organizational, verbal and written communication skills are also required. Computer savvy is a big plus.
