Collectible Minifigures Series 7

Though we don't cover them in detail on FBTB, we all still love our Castle, Pirates, and Space LEGO too.

looks pretty legit ... and if it's real, this series looks just as good as the forthcoming Series 6 !

Reason: Title slightly revised to be consistent with "hot" series 6 thread.

Re: Collectable Minifigs Series 7 ?

Nice! Is that medal printed, or a piece that goes on between the torso and head? If the latter, I'm sure we will see two more colors of it in upcoming series.

In fact, I bet we can guess quite a few upcoming figs based on this series. Obviously we will get a Groom to go with the Bride. If we are getting an Easter Bunny, we BETTER get a decent Santa, especially now that they already made a Santa torso for the Star Wars advent calendar. And I can't imagine not getting a Hippie Chick to go with the guy from this series. And I wouldn't be surprised if we got a Big, Bad Wolf to go with Red Riding Hood.

Pretty sweet. Here's how I'd categorize them (based on execution, not necessarily the character idea):

OMG AWESOME
hippie
Aztec
Extremo Space Dude
Scottish/Celtic piper
guy in bunny suit
Poseidon/Neptune

PRETTY COOL
IT guy
stunt man
royal bride
Red Riding Hood
evil knight (Vladek-esque)
rocker (female)
Valkyrie/female Viking

LAYUP CHARACTERS
Tarzan
tennis player (male)
Olympic swimmer
Hail Space!

So, with a guy that appears to be Tarzan, I wonder if the female researcher with the small monkey was/is meant to be Jane? They need to figure out a way to give us a drummer so we can round out a band now. I like all of these. As a Castle fan I really like the Black Knight. The Aztec Warrior is unexpected, but it looks great. The Bunny will be a nice addition to the costume party and it makes me wonder what else we might see along those lines. Is that a new flower stem piece with the Hippy and the Bride?

Gosh, I haven't even collected the last series now!

Is there a pattern to when these are being released? It seems they're hitting sooner and sooner now.

I seem to remember reading somewhere that Series 7 was slated for summer 2012. No idea if that's accurate or not.

I can see that Space marine becoming really overused in the not so distant future. But who can blame anyone really, it's a nice fig!

IT guy would look better with a red stapler.

omg i'd die, but he'd have to be overweight minifig though. as it is now, he's more of a Lumbergh than a Milton.

this is hands down the best series ever, way better than six.

hey guys i didn't want to start a new topic for this, but I haven't seen any mention of these- curious if any one had seen or bought any of these before

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004QV ... ag=fbtb-20

seems like a neat idea and relatively inexpensive

Brilliant. Here already? When I saw these figs in the recent Lego magazine, I jumped for joy. Easily the best set so far in terms of 'minifigs I genuinely can't do without'. Yes, I could probably do without the tennis player, but otherwise... I can feel my wallet getting lighter even as I type.

That space marine-looking dude looks awesome. In that colour he'd make for a good heavy weapons SHIELD agent too ;)

Also does the black knight remind anyone of the villain from that Knights Kingdom line? I think he was called Vladek or something.
