Will Lego be expanding the new smaller "minecart" tracks?

The ones from Temple of Doom that have been re-used in the Funhouse escape and the Alien Mothership.

It'd be nice to get connections, but at least a flat straight one would be nice.

I was hoping we'd see some in the mining sets later this year, but it looks like none have any.

There's one that has a track, but its two long white parts stuck to a baseplate... its not a part i've ever seen before, so i'm thinking it might be a preliminary part.

Sooner or later pics will show up and we'll know, though, i suppose.
