It's also worth noting that there are three more planet sets in that picture that, to my knowledge, weren't known about before this. A cloud city car, X-wing, and AT-ST. These minis could have some interesting minifigures too. :)

EDIT: Actually you can see the minifigures on the box. Perhaps not as interesting as I had hoped.

Is that a fleshie Lobot? That would be cool at least.

Yeah, I'm starting to think that I'll have to get one of those new TIEs.

I agree with Drock - a fleshie Lobot would be cool.

Yeah, that's maybe the only one I'd consider getting. But it is cool still. :)

Love that new Tie Fighter. Are the out parts of the wing new pieces?

Also: the mini packaging is pretty bold; I like it.

Sure looks like it to me. I'll be picking up a couple of those. . . does this mean that a new system-scale cloud car could be on the horizon?

Man, the reduced sizes of those boxes really emphasize how worth the money most of these sets are. And the new box art is rather lame, too (I mean, the Maul face is bad enough, but the whole thing just looks sort of bland and uninspiring).

The planet sets look good, though, or at the very least interesting. I'll probably pick up one or two of those, we'll see.

I posted this on Eurobricks a few days ago and I am a little surprised that it didn't find it's way here. Jedi News, which has a good track record of having an accurate list Star Wars Lego sets prior to their release, has a new list for next year's August sets.

Desert Skiff
Cloud Car
Saesee Tiin’s Jedi Starfighter
Felucian Fighter
The Old Republic Starfighter
AT-ST Endor
Jabba’s Palace

Could this list of August sets perhaps be including the minis? The pics above show an AT-ST and Cloud Car in the mini series 2.

I would welcome it. I loved the original, but an updated version would be nice and it'd be cool to have a genuine Cloud Car pilot minifig.

If they didn't want to make a Cloud Car pilot, I'd be even happier with it including a Lando minifig. I have yet to get one, because every set that included him was out of my price range (well, except the Sail Barge, but that's not a REAL Lando fig.) If they could sell a Cloud Car with Lobot, then they can sell one with Lando, IMHO.

I would love to see a Jabba's Palace. Hopefully we will finally get Salacious Crumb.

A cloud car would be great! For 15-20 dollars I'd definately consider snagging one, although I wouldn't be suprised if they made one in the 25 dollar range. :S

Tie Fighter looks like a nice 'wing' upgrade, different scale?
