Here's my entry for the contest : The Corellian D-Wing

In an attempt to provide a cheap and reliable fighter for the Rebels, Corellian engineers created a small fighter with bombing capability. After test completion, the D-wing proved its advantages, with good handling, good atmospheric performance (thanks to its "flying body" shape). Weapons were sufficient, with 4 turbolasers units. Bombing payload was a bit weak, but handling was a priority. D-Wing was used in a few missions were bombing capabilities were really good, thanks to astromech droid for targeting. With the engine above its structure, the D-Wing proved to have a really good damage resistance in low altitude missions, even with a standard shielding. All the vital systems were placed in the upper sections of the D-Wing frame.

My entry: The V-Wing Police Intercepting Flying Fighter Jet Spaceship Rocket Starfighter

Backstory: Retired admiral Pepe Quinn was in quite a conundrum. His assistant had failed to deliver the insurance regarding his new home purchase, and he was swamped at work with the advertising firm he worked with. Taking off his glasses, he sighed deeply, leaning back in his chair, stretching. Quinn was a former admiral in the Navy, and he had been given a pretty good job as a manager of a high-profile advertising firm for his services to the Empire. He was only 42, discharged on medical leave coupled with his strong desire to work somewhere else. Maybe someday, I'll go back to it all, he thought to himself. The Navy had been a lot more stressful than this, with lives at stake in the war, and yet Quinn found himself perturbed at petty problems he may once have scoffed at. Life, problems, it's really all relative. Folding his arms, he looked at the papers his colleague had delivered him earlier. Frowning, he put his glasses back on and got to work. Seventeen years later, some random engineer invented the V-Wing on a planet far, far away.

The T-Wing was designed by the rebel alliance to be able to easily navigate asteroid fields while maintaining a high velocity.

Incom 8-057 L-wing starfighter was a large and heavily armed ship.
Image

Its weaponry included laser and ion cannons, proton torpedo launchers.
Image

Powerful deflector shield generators and a set of high-grade sensors were installed on the asymetrical "wing".
Image

An astromech droid (R9 unit) was plugged into a socket behind the cockpit.

My own entry, Tom's Z-Wing. Please excuse the poor quality of some of the decals but the bricks belong to my nephews and I don't want to peel off decals from bricks which are not my own. My nephew's entries can (hopefully be found further below).

Please take a look at the complete album!

Hi everybody! I've been a bit of a lurker for the past few months or so, but when I saw the great entries (seriously, awesome ships so far, guys!) rolling in, I couldn't stay away anymore! So, here's my entry:

Modified Mandalorian E-53 Assault Fighter
The Helot Mark II is Lola Fett's heavily modified Mandalorian E-53 Assault Fighter. It comes with a mixed armament of both laser and ion cannons; guaranteed to make even the most courageous enemy think twice about attacking. Perfect for those bounty hunting jobs where the target is preferably wanted dead or disassembled.
