[Disney/POTC] Pirates of The Caribbean Themed Vignettes

Hello all! I'm rather new here, not very well known, so I figure I should introduce myself.

I'm Walter.

Yeah, not much to it. I recently built a series of three Pirates Of The Caribbean themed vignettes, based off the classic attraction from Disneyland and Walt Disney World. They've been built for weeks. I just got around to finding the best pics and uploading them.

LOVE these! For anyone who has ever been on the classic PotC rides at either Disney park, these are iconic scenes, and very well executed. The SNOT is lovely, but does not overpower the scenes (some MOC's go to such extremes to maintain the SNOT look that the overall look of the model is compromised). These are very cool!

Really fantastic work here. The vignettes themselves capture the scenes from the ride just perfectly, and have so many wonderful techniques inherent that they're all just great to look at. The atmosphere in the first vignette is fantastic, and the way the key is propped up to the dog is simple, yet inspired. Great, great work here!

[Solo]

The skeleton at the helm is probably my favorite part of the ride, so that first vig was enough to impress me. The rest are just icing on the cake. I want to see it motorized with a little sway action, with a strobe light behind it and sound effect.

Also, the way the dog is holding the key is very clever. Cheers to all of this.

LOVE these vignettes!!! Walter Boy does a great job of capturing the feel of the rides, and the interpretations are spot-on and instantly recognizable. These. Are. AWESOME.
