[USA] TRU - 30005 Imperial Speeder Bike

Postby DarthMC » Thu Nov 11, 2010 6:33 pm

A Toys R Us in Maryland had a bunch of the 30005 Imperial Speeder Bike polybag sets hanging on the LEGO section endcap. I think this is the same set given out in the Daily Mirror promotion last year. Didn't see a STAP which was the other set given out. They are $3.99 and there were a bunch of them.

This may be in a different package than the UK version since it has a LEGOLAND California child ticket offer on the back.

Anybody else across the country seen these? I hope they eventually release the STAP and Clone Walker too. I'd love to get those!

Yeah, I saw them in my local TRU as well, but again just the Stormie, no sign of the STAP or Clone Walker.

Stopped by to get a TIE Defender Friday afternoon and saw only an empty basket with the $3.99 label for a Star Wars set. Bummer. (Also in Southern California)

The picture on the front page reminded me that the packaging is the new dark Clone Wars box art, not the old white one.

Hnh, of course. That's the one of the three I have the no interest in, so of course that's the one that makes it to the US.

My local TRU in Durham, NC had a box of 50. They were sitting on the front counter and the salespeople didn't seem to have any idea what to do with them. I picked up 25 and found a Chrome Stormtrooper in the clearance section, which was a nice bonus.

I grabbed three to go with my 10188 since it only comes with two. Too bad it doesn't come with a blaster rifle.

Found these at a TRU in Lincoln, NE. I'm here visiting family. Picked up three of them.

I also found the TS3 Alien polybagged sets.

Does anyone know the 6 digit item number or sku number for these? My TrU has no clue what they are called nor what the item number is. It should be 6 digits long.

Thanks
