Fallingwater

Amazon.com offers Frank Lloyd Wright's Fallingwater (LEGO Architecture 21005) at $71.75 with FREE shipping. This is the largest of the Architecture sets, and currently the only set where one can obtain mass amounts of 1x2 trans-clear tiles, 52 to be exact. With 811 pieces, it surpasses the golden 10 cent price-per-part ratio.

You cannot get this in the retail store, or through shop@home, unless some independent store orders it. And ebay will be too expensive when adding shipping to it (from either us or canada).

I can order one for you at barnes and noble using my membership which gets you 10% off and there are couopons out there for another 10% off. There are 15% coupons out there too but I am using them. Unfortunately each member can only use one coupon once. Comes out to $83us including everything (taxes and shipping) to canada. Just slightly more than amazon with 10% off (15% off would match) but cdns cannot buy from amazon.com anyways.

If you have some connection to the US, you can get this cheaper at BN than amazon since it comes out to $68 with free shipping.

Also not worth it for you to get membership if you are just buying this one set or a couple sets (nothing too interesting at the moment anyways) since it cost $25usd per year. I think you have to order thousand dollars to spread the membership costs.

Saw this at Gracie in Gruffs in Downtown Calgary last weekend...though, impressive as it was a bit too expensive for my blood. MSRP, I believe.

And then would've loved to have gotten into the whole line if it was more readily available and cost-friendly.

It's not just Fallingwater that's being discounted - other Architecture sets are down too, including the Guggenheim and Empire State.

Just a pity they won't ship to me in the UK....
