sarlacc Model Contest - Voting Phase 1

The building phase is over and our members have shown off some very fine sarlaccs - now it's your time to select the best of the best. Shown below are all of the qualifying sarlacc entries. Each active forum member can vote for up to three, and the top five from the first poll will go on to the final voting round and compete for the prizes. You have ten days to vote, so take your time and be sure to check out each sarlacc before making your selections.

Sorry for the totally novice question, but to vote do we reply to this thread with the numbers of our desired entries?
if this is the case, wont people be able to see who we are voying for?

Just select your three choices from the poll at the top. You do not need to post what your votes are. While one member has apparently done that, doing so would defeat the purpose of keeping the votes hidden until then end of this voting phase.

I think some of us are not seeing any mechanism to 'select three choices at the top'. There are no check boxes or radio buttons or blanks to fill in. Clicking thumbnails takes us to flickr pages, and I can't see any other hyperlinks. Are we still missing something, or do our pages look different than what other voters are seeing? I checked that I'm logged in, cookies enabled, but that didn't solve the problem either.

I think there's something weird going on here...I don't see anywhere to input votes either. I see the list of numbers and the red bars with question marks next to them, but I don't see any buttons or check boxes or input fields. I've checked on three browsers, and even gone into Firebug to check the source code, but I don't see anything...

I'm worried now that I'm actually seeing the post-vote poll, that somehow my votes were randomly assigned the first time I visited the thread.

Yeah I have the same problem as majortom, I can't click on anything in the poll all I see is red lines and some numbers...

Voting has been disabled for newly registered users. if you are a newly registered users, you will get the ability to vote after some time. this was done to prevent multiple registrations and voter fraud. so please be patient. i know you are all anxious to vote but we have other forums with many ongoing discussions. take a break from the contest, join a discussion, participate.
