Lego Blackberry?

It's like the old BCS, except the 2.0 makes it fancy. Wondering why you can't post here? Check out the rules and expectations, and it all should be made clear...

Lego Blackberry?

Seen over at engadget. This seems really well done. There seems a lot more Lego art now days.

This is a personal opinion and nothing more, but I don't see a whole lot of artistic merit in Nathan Sawya's work any more. Getting paid to make large Lego sculptures of various products or logos to get the paying company free advertising on all your standard geek-centric blogs is a nice job, but it seems pretty hollow.

Well yeah I see your point. He's probably at the point where he's doing just for money now.

I like some of his older stuff, but anymore, he builds so big that I don't even see it as that creative or challenging. He's just got a huge collection and supplies, and builds everything so giant that it's pretty direct and plain. It's far nicer to see someone do a build that looks challenging, and has a creative use of parts...

Translating it into LEGO at such a size is like photocopying a big picture of something. What's the point?

Eh, I would, or at the very least, put him as an amazingly skilled builder that is at least engaged with the community at large.
