Toys’R’US is putting all of their LEGO Star Wars sets on sale, and Amazon is following suit, sort of. Amazon is usually pretty good about price matching so maybe they’re slow on the draw as of this posting but I’d imagine the rest of the sets would go on sale as well. The other catch with Amazon is that you have to be a Prime member to get the discounted price.
For Toys’R’Us, most of their sets start at MSRP with no TRU tax, so you’re seeing a true 20% off. Their exclusive Episode I sets and a few others though, have a bit of the TRU tax applied so the discount is slightly less than 20% off but any discount is better than no discount though in my book.
Some notable sets and their price:
- 75105 Millennium Falcon $119.99 ($149.99) Amazon | Toys’R’Us
- 75137 Carbon-Freezing Chamber $19.99 ($24.99) Amazon | Toys’R’Us
- 75094 Imperial Shuttle Tydirium has a 23% discount down to $76.99 ($99.99) and is only at Amazon
- 75093 Death Star Final Duel has a 15% discount at both places, making it $67.99 ($79.99) Amazon | Toys’R’Us
- 75135 Obi-Wan’s Jedi Interceptor $19.99 only at Toys’R’Us
- 75086 Battle Droid Carrier is only available at Toys’R’Us and it’s seeing a 15% discount off of MSRP $34.39 ($39.99)
- And finally, the latest reviewed set to get 5 stars, 75136 Droid Escape Pod is also just $19.99 ($24.99) at both Amazon and Toys’R’Us
