Updating the theme has been something I’ve been meaning to do for a long time. The custom theme we were running was sorely outdated and lacked a couple of features that it desperately needed, like mobile-friendly view, Open Graph tags, etc. I had this idea of trying to get the new theme configured and ready and then launch it all at once, but let’s face it, if we didn’t have the time before to fix all the various issues, we weren’t going to have time to finish a redesign of that magnitude. And this goes back to that post before, where I mentioned I felt like things had to be done a certain way or else it wasn’t worth doing.
So here we are breaking stuff but we’re not going to sit on our asses. We’ll be configuring things on an on-going basis so bear with us while the site is under construction.
