This might be around the time I struggle to find something new to say in these little intro blurbs. Last year I told a story of how I almost died. This year? Not feeling as inspired. Not yet anyway. I may change my mind tomorrow. Or the next day. The tally so far:

City seems to be picking up steam again. Eric’s having an unfortunate run with… picture frames? Who knows. I’ll have to ask my daughter if she knows. Let’s see what’s in store for us today.

I guess a police wagon, because LEGO can’t read the room in 2020. I mean, yeah, they’re not an American company, and how the police is seen in general is different world wide than say, here. But still… maybe find a new theme to go after?
Harry Potter (Eric)
Another minifig. This one is Padma Patil. Or Parvati. I am not sure, honestly. I do really like this figure, in her Indian sari. I only wish her alt face was more akin to the expression she wore for most of her date with Ron / Harry (depending on, you know, which one she is). I mean, these are teenagers after all, let them be angsty.
Star Wars (Ace)
Well, given we got an Idiot Droid yesterday, it makes sense we’d get an Episode I build today to pair up with the Droid. Most of these builds are in pairs by movie. The Trade Federation Battleship is today’s build. It’s a bit squarish, isn’t it? But I don’t know how else it could have been done. I’ll give this one a thumbs up.
You can hear it, can’t you? “Now THIS is podracing!” Sorry not sorry. Had to say it. Cringe away, my friends, cringe away.
