This is one of my favorite creator sets. 10247 Ferris Wheel. It is normally $199.99 but can be had for $159.99 right now from Amazon. I am 99% sure it’s on LEGO short list of sets that normally never go on sale so seeing it pop up at this price is suprising. I like it so much so that I really regret not getting the Carousel set from a few years back.
The size and scope are impressive and the overall construction of the set is just amazing. It has a good assortment of minifigs and creates a nice little slice of fairground life. If you do pull the trigger and buy the set, I highly suggest getting the 8883 Power Functions M-Motor and 88000 Power Functions AAA Battery Box and motorize the thing. It’s a bit noisy but it’s nice to see it in motion without having to manually crank the wheel. It’s awesome and you won’t regret getting it. Don’t be like me and the carousel and regret not getting it years down the line when it’s discontinued. And it’s on sale!
