When looking at Thorsten Bonsch’s (Xenomurphy) MOC of what I am sure is a McFarlane-era Spider-man, it’s amazing how he was able to capture the essence of ol’ webhead using LEGO elements to form the mosaic. Look a little closer and it’s even more mindblowing to realize that the pieces are just scattered on a black dropcloth and then photographed. It definitely showcases how LEGO can transcend from toy to art.
