4184 Black Pearl More Widely Available

In all the excitement of the 2012 pictures, this one pretty much flew under the radar. But in addition to 4184 Black Pearl being available at Target stores, Amazon.com (linked above) also has this set for sale. Priced at $99.97, you get free shipping and no tax to most states. LEGO Shop@Home also has this in their inventory for $99.99. You pay for shipping, but since October is double VIP points, you’ll get 199 points credited to your account. There is also a report of this set showing up at Costco at a discounted price of $79.99. Lots of buying options if you’re hankering for the ship from the first movie which also happens to be the best Pirates movie.

[US] Target BOGO 50% Off Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, and NinjaGo

Target Logo

Target stores currently have a buy one get one free offer for Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Ninjago sets. People over in the forums are reporting that this promotion varies by store, so you may end up with a buy two get one free or a BOGO 30% off in your area. The online deal is BOGO 50%.

Online prices for the most part match MSRP, so 30-50% off is a good way to snag the new Harry Potter summer sets at a discount. You could even buy two Knight Buses and get a bunch of sweet purple elements.

Target Sales This Week

Tahrbow lets us know that Target is selling 8039 Venator-class Republic Attack Cruiser for $89.99. Shipping starts at $7.84 and you pay tax. You can also order the set from Amazon if that makes things any easier, but you’ll still pay tax and shipping since Target is the reseller on that item. There appears to be a 6 per order limit, unless they really do only have 6 left.

Also, Target’s ad this week shows a Buy One Get One 50% off on all World Racers, Duplo, and Prince of Persia sets. PoP is on sale everywhere it seems (though, if PoP is what you really want, you’re better off picking stuff up from Amazon). This offer is good through Saturday Dec 18 and only valid in stores.
