Target Discounts 6863 Batwing Battle Over Gotham City

Target online has discounted 6863 Batwing Battle Over Gotham City down to $29.99 with free shipping. But that’s not all: use coupon code “TGURD63S” at checkout to receive an additional $5.00 off. Stack your Red Card discount to get another 5% off and you could be paying even less.

I swear the run up to the holidays drains my bank account every year… and we haven’t even hit Black Friday or Cyber Monday yet.

First Hobbit Polybag Available @ TRU

30212 Mirkwood Elf Guard Polybag

Brickset and TheBrickLife have reported the first Hobbit related polybag has surfaced at TRU in the US and it looks pretty sweet. I love me some polybags and I’m more of a parts guy so this caught my attention for the mushroom, green hood and wine glass alone, though the whole set looks good overall compared to many polys recently. Feel free to sound off if you see 30212 Mirkwood Elf Guard in store and I’ll cross my fingers for their arrival in Canada.

Target Discounts 9492 TIE Fighter has discounted the Empire’s staple swarm fighter 9492 TIE Fighter down to a whopping low $34.99, down from MSRP of $54.99. That’s a discount of over 35%, matching the best price we’ve seen on this set to date. Deal is good online only according to their website but you may be able to get lucky in-store as well. Use your Red Card for an additional 5% off and free shipping. Given enough time, Amazon may match the price so keep an eye out.

Target has also discounted their exclusive 9494 Anakin’s Jedi Interceptor by 25%, down to an even $30. Deal is good both online and in-store. There’s also a price mistake in their weekly flyer showing 7962 Anakin’s & Sebulba’s Podracers at the same price, $30, but ymmv on that one. Other sets on sale for $30 include Monster Fighters 9465 The Zombies and the discontinued Ninjago 9444 Cole’s Tread Assault.

Update: Amazon has now matched the price on the 9492 TIE Fighter.

Amazon, Walmart Discount 9515 The Malevolence 25%

The internet price wars continue as both Walmart and Amazon have discounted 9515 The Malevolence by 25% off of MSRP. The set can be yours for $89.97. Both offer free shipping to your home so if you live in a state where Amazon charges sales tax, it’s pretty much a wash. If you live in one that doesnt, I’d imagine the Amazon offer is a bit more appealing.

Also, if you’re ordering from Amazon, you should know that 9471 Urak-Hai Army is once again down to $24.97 matching the previous lowest price the set has seen, making expansion plans a little more affordable.

Thanks to lmaniac for writing it in.

Amazon Discounts 9472 Attack on Weathertop

In the run up to the much anticipated Hobbit sets, Amazon has discounted 9472 Attack on Weathertop by 25%, down to $44.97. Also, there are reports coming in that 9470 Shelob Attacks is seeing a massive discount down to $6.00 but it’s intermittently appearing on the page. It’s currently listed at $19.97 right now but maybe one of you can click through and get lucky.

Update: Walmart has the same set for the same price. Pick your vendor.

SPARKART!’s Cars-Tuned Characters Are Delightfully Odd

S-Cars-lett SpeedsterCaptain Ameri-Cars

I don’t know if the story on these guys is cutesy parallel dimension or horrifically hilarious toxic mutations, but either way I’d like to see more. If they end up giving me nightmares it’s my own fault anyway.
