And finally…. Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
Other than eating turkey, I know what I’ll be doing this weekend.

FBTB’s Charity Drive is not the only game in town. I am way, way, waaaaay overdue in posting this, but Nannan over at TBB is once again hosting Creations for Charity. To date, he’s raised over $5,000 in funds so far which is just mind boggling. The money he’s raised goes towards buying LEGO products for Toys for Tots. He’s constantly trolling the boards for deals to help stretch every last penny. Quite a task, but well worth the effort.
If you’re not familiar with Creations for Charity, Nannan’s Bricklink account is set up with all the details where you can browse, buy, and support his efforts. If you’re looking for a gift for a LEGO fan that is one-of-a-kind and not your everyday run-of-the-mill LEGO set, consider buying a MOC. Not only do you get something cool, you’ll be giving to charity to help kids discover what we already love: LEGO.
If you haven’t been lucky enough to find them at your local brick and mortar Toys’R'Us store, you can now order the polybag 30005 Imperial Speeder Bike online. Unfortunately, there’s no free shipping and you’ll probably end up paying tax. Not worth the cost if you’re just getting one or two. But as an add-on, or if you get like, say… 999, then it’s probably worth it.
Thanks to that guy for the heads up.
Not much of an update as nothing new made a blip on my radar, so I’ll just link to Monday’s post here. The only thing new to add to the list is what LEGO Shop@Home is offering:
No code necessary. Discount and free shipping is automatically applied to qualifying carts. Offer good in the US and Canada and ends Monday November 29th.
Shop@Home will also be revealing new discounts everyday starting Friday through Monday. I’ll be posting updates with those deals as they come.
In case you missed it, the 2nd Annual FBTB Charity Drive is underway. We’ve amassed a little over 250 donations, a far cry from my goal of 1,100. And only you can make that happen! A modest $2.00 donation gets you a raffle ticket good for two chances to win one of two epic prize packages. Enter as many times as you like for more chances to win. Your donations will go directly to Child’s Play Charity benefiting needy children hospitalized during the holidays. Want more info? Check out the original post for more details about the prizes.
And so it begins… It was my original intention to post this on Wednesday before Thanksgiving, but this year I decided to post on Monday so that everyone can devise a tactical plan for Black Friday. I’ll probably repost this on Wednesday with any last minute changes. Kind of ho-hum deals this year, nothing beats the LEGO Star Wars deals from years past. Hopefully, some of you will find this information useful. Good luck and be safe!
