Well, it’s first Monday of the new year, and I guess that means it’s back to work. If you weren’t lucky enough to come across these at Toys’R’Us or at Walmart, you can now order Minifigures Series 3 directly from LEGO Shop@Home for $2.99 each. There’s a limit of 16 per customer and there’s no guarantee you’ll get a full set with your 16. But hey, that’s what trading’s for. Good luck!

Update: LEGO moves quick as it seems Superspeelgoed already 404’d the images.
Dutch site Superspeelgoed spilled the beans on LEGO Minifigures Series 4 by posting the image above. This is quite possibly the best series yet not because of the werewolf bone, nor the geisha girl head that looks like an Amidala head, nor the awesome garden gnome, nor the ice skate element, nor the mohawk, nor the new bottle element with the mad scienteist, no, none of those reasons. The main reason why series 4 rocks so much? It includes my sigfig head on the skater.
Image are linked directly from the Superspeelgoed site. LEGO will probably ask them to take it down so grab the images while you can.
Thanks to ccjwprongs for the heads up.
If you haven’t heard by now, LEGO Collectible Minifigures Series 3 has been found out in the wild, specifically the wilds of a Fred Meyer store in the Seattle area. Brickpop’s Jeff and Daniel scored a nice pile of loot a few days ago. They wrote an unboxing article complete with pictures yesterday.
Forum members roar15 and skyward72 have found Series 2 of the Collectible minifigures at Target by the Halloween items. Makes sense I guess, since a number of these minifigs could be considered Halloween-themed. Price is $1.99, same as LEGO S@H. If you don’t have a LEGO store nearby and want to avoid paying $2.50-$2.99 at TRU, Target might be worth a visit.
LEGO Shop@Home listed Minifigures Volume 2 on their site available for order, currently backordered though with the status “will ship in 30 days”. They upped their limit to 16, up from 5 last time which will definitely offer more variety in the figs a person can get instead of the typical poker hand most people were experiencing with the previous order limit.
