[Toys R Us] Star Wars On “Sale,” Collectible Minifigures 2 for $5

Y-wing CMF 6

The Toys R Us weekly flyer has a couple of deals this week. First off, “select top selling” Star Wars items are 30% off, including LEGO. As always, watch out for price adjustment trickery.

The only sets that are actually “30% off” are the ones pictured in the flyer. Turns out they aren’t such great deals compared to normal MSRP:
>>9491 Geonosian Cannon (23% Off MSRP)
>>9495 Gold Leader’s Y-Wing Starfighter (16% Off MSRP)

The exclusive 30057 Anakin’s Pod Racer and larger sets like 10211 Super Star Destroyer are 10% off with free shipping.

Spend $35 or more on Star Wars and you get a free 2gb Darth Maul flash drive.

What’s more enticing is Collectible Minifigures Series 6 are 2 for $5 (down from $3.49 TRU, $2.99 elsewhere). Must buy two at a time for the offer. It’s limited to one transaction per online order, but in-store there is no limit. With no limit they’re sure to sell out fast. You can get a complete set of 16 and save around $8 off MSRP.

Future Collectible Minifigs?

Eagle-eyed FBTB forum member mooslug spotted an interesting mistake on Lego Shop@Home’s Series 6 product page. It would seem the current series’ Zookeeper and Snowboarder were omitted from the list and replaced with previously unknown Flamenco Dancer and Jungle Boy. Spoiler for Series 6? 7? 8?

Shop@Home Spoilers?

Also, a tipster sent us an image of more possible collectible minifigs that leaked onto the interwebs a few weeks ago, and they’re pretty fantastic:

Lady Liberty, a minotaur, awesome pink space vixen, a genie, Braveheart, a Leprechaun, pompadour hairpieces, meat cleavers and more to love: I’m willing to throw down right now and call this the best series so far, and we haven’t even seen all 16 figures for this wave yet.
