Toys’R’Us brick&mortar stores in the U.K. are offering a free Chrome Darth Vader with qualifying purchase. Similar to the Austria/German deal, Spend £29.99 or more to receive your free Chrome Lord of the Sith. This promotion was stated by LEGO to start on June 7th, but thanks to forum member bigospedros for giving everyone the heads up that it has already started. Offer good while supplies lasts so your mileage may vary.

LEGO Star Wars isn’t the only game in town celebrating it’s 10th Anniversary. FBTB was born the same year the LEGO Star Wars products hit the streets. We’ve had a couple of rough spots over the course of our history, but I can say with confidence that the current state of affairs ever since the relaunch, which I affectionately refer to as FBTB 3.0, has never been better. From the hundreds of entries, many were disqualified, but only one would rise up to be called the big weiner. Congratulations go to…

Your Chrome Vader will be on its way shortly.

And in some cases, some other vital piece of information, like their city, or zip code. I know I sound like a broken record, but come on peoples, it’s not that hard. And I had posted a warning/reminder in the contest announcement too. I should offer a bonus prize for the next giveaway, that if everyone follows the submission requirements, I’ll randomly pick a second prize winner. Hmmmm, I just might do that….
