That programming snafu yesterday regarding the 25% off LEGO sale was a bit annoying, but it seems that the sale has now turned into a BOGO 50% off sale. You can hit up this page on Amazon to see all the sets that qualify. It looks like they still have 10198 Tantive IV and 10197 Fire Brigade in stock. Though the modest 7% discount is gone, saving 25% by ordering both is still a great deal. Free shipping and no tax to most states makes this an awesome deal.

The instructions say to just add qualifying items to your cart and the discount will be reflected at checkout. Well, all I can say is that the instructions LIE. Well, maybe they do. I got all the way to the end with no discount. Their codebase may not have been updated quite yet, but I would keep an eye out to see when the discount triggers. I saw the Tantive IV set today in person. It is pretty small and dinky. I was hoping for a larger set with a hallway to recreate the iconic opening battle scene in ANH, but alas, it was not meant to be. Still, for such a small model, it’s pretty detailed.
