The Little Green Men Xmas Tree

I don’t know what I find more adorable, andybear@hk‘s build or that fact that there is a giant tree somewhere completely covered in LGM’s.

Artoo-Deertoo and Santa-Pio by forum-member sparkart. If this doesn’t win something at LEGOSantaYoda.com there’s something wrong with the world.

  • “Star Cars” Lightning McFalcon, or Millennium McQueen, or. . . something. . .

Check out this intriguing mash-up by Raphael Heusser that combines two of our favorite vehicles: Star Wars’ Millennium Falcon and Lightning McQueen of Cars. I suppose the most fitting tagline here would be, “To infinity, and beyond!”

  • Super Heroes Unite! October Winners Announced

The entry period for LEGO’s Super Heroes Unite! Contest may be over, but the excitement continues as the latest round of winners are announced! Coming in first place for October is Dan Glasure with the stop-motion video “It’s Just Your Imagination” and artwork by Stanley Iu, “How to Make LEGO Better.” Congratulations to both who get to take home a lovely (I’m sure, since I haven’t actually seen it) porcelain maquette, not to mention the entire 2012 DC Collection of LEGO Super Heroes sets!

Don’t forget to check out the rest of October’s winners here and stay tuned next month for the exciting conclusion as the final round of winners–including the grand prize winner–are announced.
