Today is October 4th, the day Lucasfilm wants you to remember as Triple Force Friday. I still don’t know what the ‘Triple’ signifies in the name. And to be completely honest, I don’t really know what’s going on. All I know is that a bunch of toys were announced and are on sale today for Rise of the Skywalker, and The Mandalorian, and… that Resistance cartoon maybe? Original Trilogy stuff? Is there a charity tie-in to all the sales? I mean, surely with the marketing prowess and brand strength of Star Wars, there could be two other things related to Triple Force Friday that are meaningful in some way, you know? Like one point of the Triple could be new toys to buy, a second point would be proceeds from sales would benefit a charity, like how A Force For Change is, and the third could be, I don’t know, some kind of live stream event or an announcement? I mean, it’s not just Disney saying, buy our new toys, could it? Could it be that Triple Force Friday just a merchandise push?

I kid. New toys are always fun to look at, experience, and even buy. So if you’re looking to participate in the weekend’s shopfest, look no further than LEGO Shop@Home. Here’s what they have lined up for Triple Force Friday starting today and lasting through 11:59pm PST October 6th:

  • Double VIP Points on all LEGO Star Wars purchases.
  • Free Battle of Endor Micro Build
  • Select LEGO Star Wars sets on sale. Most things are 20% off. Admittedly, I only looked at a handful of sets and did the mental math, so I’m unsure if there are higher discounts.
This set could be yours for the low, low price of a $75 LEGO Star Wars or more.

Happy shopping!
