FBTB Charity Drive Final Tally, Raffle Winners

$2390

I’m extremely happy to report the final donation numbers to the FBTB Charity Drive. In total, we’ve received 1,195 donations. Like last year, FBTB will cover the fees that Paypal ding’s each donation, so I’ll be making a final contribution of $2,390 to Child’s Play.

Now, before I announce the raffle winners, I just want thank everyone again who donated $2, $10, $100, or whatever amount you donated. Every dollar counts and will go a long way to help children in need. Being a new(ish) father myself, my perspective on life has changed a lot. I can’t imagine what parents must be going through when their child is sick and hospitalized. Gift shopping is probably the last thing on their minds, and this is where Child’s Play steps up to the plate, by providing gifts to those sick kids. The holidays is all about giving, and your collective generosity means a lot. Thank you.

So, with all that being said, let’s reveal the winners!

…and Out with the Old.

Home One

Another year coming to an end, another massive clearance sale. Yesterday S@H threw a bunch of items into their sales section for 50% off clearance. Sadly most of the best deals are gone (a lot of it sold out fast), but there are a couple of stragglers. Lots of keychains and magnet sets, a few great sets, and a few non-sellers. The usual. At it’s peak, there were around 200 items available in the sale section, but now there are about three pages of in-stock items. You can see them all HERE.

I singled out a few great 50% off deals left, as of this posting:
5983 Undercover Cruiser $14.98 (was $29.99)
7747 Wind Turbine Transport $29.98 (was $59.99)
7754 Mon Calamari Star Cruiser $54.98 (was $109.99)
8099 Midi-Scale Imperial Star Destroyer $19.99 (was $39.99)
7752 Count Dooku’s Solar Sailer $27.48 (was $54.99)

Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker Clock

Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker Clock

I was browsing through some old photos and ran across this. This was taken at this year’s Toy Fair back in February. Apparently, there is or was supposed to be a Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker clock along with the Stormtrooper, Vader, Yoda, and Anakin clocks.

Check out this Improved Series 3 Cheat Sheet!

LEGO minifigure series 3 cheat sheet 2

pharmjod has posted an improved cheat sheet for the Series 3 minifigure dot codes. Thanks!

I’m glad my original sheet was able to help some people out, but I’m aware it wasn’t the greatest. I actually just found Series 3 at Toys R Us today, finally, and couldn’t for the life of me figure out the dots with my own sheet. Glad there’s a better version.
