Looking at the launch line-up for the PS5, there really isn’t much there that I want to play except for, of course, Spider-Man: Miles Morales. And this clip from Game Informer is making me want to play it that much harder.
The mission in the clip has Miles rescuing Spider-Cat for a neighborhood bodega owner. After returning Spider-Cat (who is actually named Spider-Man) to the owner, you see Miles suit up with a hoodie and a backpack. I assume the outfit comes as a reward for completing the mission because you see Miles stowing Spider-Cat in his backpack complete with identity-concealing cat mask. Then, you see a quick clip of fight and Spider-Cat being unleashed as a finishing move to take a swipe at the thug. How can anyone see this and NOT want to play with Spider-Cat the entire game?
Thankfully, Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be released on PS4 as well as PS5. So for those of you who weren’t fortunate enough to score a pre-order for the next-gen system, you can still enjoy the best thing to happen this holiday season known as Spider-Cat.
