Grab your polish, cause it seems that two other developers are.
First, the team of the Final Fantasy 7 Remake announced they’re pushing the release date from March 3rd to April 10th, 2020, putting it in the release schedule right before the Resident Evil 3 Remake (uh oh) and Cyberpunk 2077 (really big uh oh). I get that polishing a game is important, but I wonder why they chose this date specifically. I can’t see sales going as well in April as they would’ve gone in early March.
And! Another Square Enix game, Marvel’s Avengers, announced their delay, from May 15th to – wait for it – September 4th. Ironically that’ll be almost two years after the release of Spiderman for PS4. Wonder if that’s intentional…
