Yeah, I missed yesterday’s post. I just plumb forgot. But this post’s polybag, 30062 Target Practice, was the intended target, pun intended!

I’ll just start with this: I can’t stand the helmet.

It looks dumb and impractical. And heavy! How strong are these archers’ neck muscles to hold a metal helmet that’s more or less a full metal jacket AND a wide-brimmed hat that is also made out of metal?

Look how relieved he is not having to wear that stupid thing.

Honestly, this was the one main thing that completely turned me off of the entire Kingdoms line. Yes, this one minifigure accessory was a deal-breaker.

The rest of the polybag is lame too. If there’s one thing that irks me to no end is sets that are just a bunch of little loose things. And this polybag is exactly that. The main target build with a small apple tree isn’t bad, but the little chicken leg roasting over an open fire was the straw that broke the camel’s back. Was it really necessary to include this dumb build that just hangs out on the side? Could they not have made the one baseplate bigger and have everything attach to that? Lame.

Does It Suck or Does It Rock?

This set sucks! Just the lamest. And if this is just a preview of the rest of the theme, then it must have been a terrible theme. I’d rather save my money.
