Somewhere out there in the world at the very minute this is posted, there is a gathering of like-minded individuals huddled around a table drinking in the latest set revealed by the almighty brick. Or at least I assume there is. These kinds of reveals don’t happen in a vacuum so I’m sure there is an AFOL convention of some kind going on somewhere. Given the timing, I can only assume it’s happening somewhere not in the U.S. Wherever it is happening, people must be gawking at the tenth (10th!) set in the modular building line: 10246 Detective’s Office. The set is similar to 10218 Pet Shop in that there are two distinct, narrow buildings in this set instead of the usual one large one. I myself appreciate this kind of set more due to the creativity involved in creating a fully realized environment in a smaller footprint twice over. I can’t wait.
10246 Detective’s Office will cost $159.99 for 2,262 pieces and will be available starting in January 2015. That and 75060 Slave I both available in January? I know what I’ll be saving my Christmas cash for!
