eToys is like the killer in horror movies. You don’t know where he’s been, what he’s been up to, and why he just won’t die. Well apparently, Toys’R’Us decided to acquire eToys. This is an interesting move on TRU’s part. Maybe it’s just me, but I never got a strong impression that eToys was that strong of a brand. They were absorbed by KB*Toys during their last struggling days of online toy selling. I haven’t read the article completely but I’m guessing KB*Toys is struggling enough to sell off the brand.
