Just a quick note before I get on the road to get to Carlsbad. Star Wars Weekend starts today and there is a variety of activities going on at the park all weekend. Last I checked, there’s going to be a Droid hunt hosted by the 501st; you’ll be able to play LEGO Star Wars II on the big screen at the theater; I’ll be setting up the mosaic that was at CIV along with Gary; there will be a bunch of MOC’s on display; a DUPLO promo brick will be given to park goers; kids (and maybe adults too) can participate in a costume contest and if you know me I LOVE costumes, so that’s something I’m looking forward to (on a side note: many years ago I went to LEGOLand during Halloween weekend, and there was a costume contest for the kids. One kid showed up wearing a purple body suit and had purple balloons stuck to him all over. He went as Grapes. That one had me cracking up). So come on down if you’re in the area.
