I don’t even know how to start this.
Like many of you I was up at midnight hitting refresh on the Falcon page. Nothing, nada, for like 15 minutes straight. So I did what anyone else would do and hopped on a support chat with Amazon reps. And the news is not good.
Basically, the last rep I talked to said that the previous two agents that gave me the specific time were in error and should not have done so. She (I honestly have no idea if the rep was a she or a he but I’m using she to make things easier) also could not confirm that the Falcon would even go on sale despite me giving her the link to the press release.
I am super, super annoyed. I was on chat for about an hour but I couldn’t get any more information from them; only that it might go on sale sometime today. I am so done with this.
But I do not post this out of futility, at least not completely. I bring a suggestion that may help ease the anxiety of infinitely refreshing the page:
- Add the item to your wish list either via a desktop browser or the Amazon mobile app.
- Turn on notifications on the app and make sure that “Your Watched & Waitlisted Deals” is toggled on.
- Check on your phone’s settings that you allow notifications to come through from the Amazon app.
- Alternatively you can create a camel alert here.
