LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 Sounds Like LEGO Dimensions

I didn’t get sent the assets for this one, but TTGames released their latest trailer for the upcoming LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 game. The “story trailer” shows off “Cosmo the Spacedog — telepathic Soviet cosmonaut, Knowhere’s chief of security and ally to the Guardians of the Galaxy — who is tasked with alerting and assembling an elite team of Super Heroes to take on the time-travelling Super Villain, Kang the Conqueror. Kang has stolen numerous Marvel cities and locations from across time and space to form the expansive Open Hub World of Chronopolis, in hopes to take over the universe. As a result, Cosmo’s call to action brings together a diverse group of Marvel Super Heroes from different time periods and realities.”

That little excerpt was taking from SuperHeroHype, and sounds a lot like LEGO Dimensions. I guess it’s what they had to do to justify the C-, D-, E-, F-, and G-Teams of Super Heroes that makes up the roster of the game. I thoroughly enjoyed the NINJAGO Movie game; I’m hoping LMSH2 will be just as enjoyable.

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 comes out next month on November 14th, 2017. Pre-order the Deluxe Edition for Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, and you’ll not only get the game, you’ll also get the Season Pass, early access to the Classic Guardians of the Galaxy pack, a poster, and an exclusive Giant Man minifigure.
