It’s Friday night and if I know anything about LEGO nerds or family men, it’s that we have no plans tonight! That is unless you’ve already bought your tickets to tonight’s An Unexpected Art Show going on at Lot 613 at 613 Imperial Street, a blank-canvas special events space in the Historic Arts District of Downtown Los Angeles. The show is one night only, tonight, and runs from 7pm to 1am. You’ll get to meet members of OneLUG who created the 7′ Tower of Orthanc featuring 23 Ents, over 100 orcs all on an 8′ diameter base surrounding the imposing Tower. This will most likely be the last time the Tower will be shown publicly and it’s really something that should be seen in person to fully appreciate. Oh, yeah, there’s an art show too or something. Tickets will be $20 at the door, or you can print out this flyer and get in for $10.
