This image was sent to me last night. And color me surprised, but I had assumed that the BrickHeadz line was only for Marvel and DC Super Heroes. This Beauty and the Beast set basically opened the door for more possible themes to get the collectible/buildable figure treatment. More Disney is surely inbound, perhaps Star Wars isn’t too far off. I still don’t know how I feel about this line. While it may not appeal to most LEGO AFOLs, they do make nice desktop ornaments for fans of a particular franchise. It may introduce some new parts, but when it comes to the collectible figures, I think FUNKO has that market cornered pretty well. This is basically that, except you build it yourself. I’m approaching it with an open mind and want to see what else comes.
