Everybody wanted the Shuttle. I know those that collect those *other* toys have been hoping they'd get one by now. LEGO must be grinning: if they've read the same comments that I have these last few weeks, they know they've got a winner here.

Again, I wonder how many were excited over the Shuttle, and how may salivated over the thought of Imperial Guard minifigs. This is a great assortment for cool minifigs. I think the only complaint with this set comes with the Imperial Pilot - you can't tell me that Palpatine wouldn't fry the guy for smiling!

The Shuttle itself is a beautiful model, although proportions seem to be off. The cockpit is as big as the body of the ship. When the wings are deployed for flight they array themselves correctly, and it positions itself right when the wings are raised for landing as well. There is an odd 'sled' in the rear of the Shuttle for the minifigs to sit on that slides in and out, I'm not sure what that is all about.

Now we have a Shuttle - and LEGO didn't decide to go with the 'Tyderium' and give us Rebels instead of Imperials. I think we're all thankful for that. An Imperial Shuttle for $35!
