Awesome pods so far.
This was a contest I was determined to enter, and I decided to go with a Castle Skeleton theme.

King arthur proves once and for, all that two 5 ounce european swallows CAN carry a 2 pound coconut. And who needs a pit droid when you are occompanied by the ever present, coconut-clapping patsy!

I tried to balance design(the swallow & coconut) with functionality (air brakes and greebles). I enjoyed this contest immensely, and am pleased to say I greatly improved as a builder. :D

Batman's Podracer - The Bat Pod

Crime and corruption take over Gotham City every Spring. The commissioner turns on the Bat-Signal, but to no avail. Where is the Caped Crusader? Unbeknownst to the residents of Gotham, every April, Bruce Wayne and Alfred pack up the Intergalactic Toy Hauler and head for the underground podracing circuit on Felucia, Endor, Kashyyyk and some of the other lesser-known forest moons. Podracing in the desert is nothing compared to zipping through the dense jungles of Mantooine! Currently the holder of 7 track records, Batman has won the Kashyyyk Klassyyyk 3 years running and has never finished off the top 5 points leaderboard in the Hutt Cup Series. When recently asked why he doesn't have any Batarangs or other flashy crap on his pod, he responded with a Christian Bale-growl, "That ain't me."

Flynn, you've got a broken link.
Darienlee101, you really need to get a better picture of your pod
Tavernello, I love your build, but you need to look at the rules/building tips again, since that 4-engine design isn't a legal podracer for this contest.
If the above post didn't offend you, you're probably reading it wrong.

Not so on that last one... the rules say that the 4 way design isn't banned, but warns it's much harder to pull off and strongly discourages it.

This is my entry for the contest (and my first post here on FBTB):

During his apprenticeship Anakin didn't come back to Tatooine, but sometimes raced again with an old and historic team somewhere in the galaxy. His winning record is still unattainable for anyone else, but nobody knows why he used a different name and he was speaking with a german accent ;)

Hey, guys, I'm new to this forum. Here's my entry, the Zabrak Z-1.

Hope you like it!

Why on earth was the Empire able to build a moon-sized battle station capable of destroying an entire planet when, at the same time, they're most common data storage unit was still a tape!?

The idea was to be vague, in order to make sure he read ALL the rules again. ;)

Thanks for correcting yourself, Arkov.

My entry-pic for the contest.
I thought, every emperor and his henchman (sidekick) needs some fun and thrill in their spare time.
The bulky look of the pods inspired me to follow this idea, the height of one pod is nearly two and a half minifig-size.
