Here's my entry:
This is the Black Manits Mark II
Commanded by the bounty hunter Squash'em Morte
He uses the syringe to extract DNA from the prisoners. He will then sell them their freedom and get the bounty for the clones or, if the prisoner is wanted in more than one jurisdiction, he will sell a clone to each one for the bounty.
Here is the prisoner compartment:
Of course he tends to leave them in a little too long.

That is the most incredible build I have ever seen. I was amazed when I saw it on the Flicker page and thought it was just a Lion Fish (My Favorite Animal btw). Then I saw it was a ship for the contest and my awe went to a another level.

Congratulations on a Masterpiece!

Replacing the extra bunks with two cryo pods allows him to travel more efficiently, and collect multiple bounties at once.
If violence should ensue, Eyeglass is armed with a starboard side laser turret and a hidden portside ion cannon.

This is Roton Subree, laconic bounty hunter, posing with his favorite weapon, the neural disruptor.
It knocks most creatures out cold without any permanent damage. Just the thing for capturing bounties alive.
Not much is known about Roton Subree, and he prefers it that way. What little is known is that: 1) he's male,
2) he never takes his helmet off, 3) he keeps a low profile and, 4) he's from the Outer Rim.
There's a rumor that he's Skakoan eventhough he doesn't look like one. "But he sounds like one" some people say.
There's another rumor that he can see in complete darkness, that he is very sensitive to the faintest light,
and that his helmet dims all incoming light so that he can function in any lighting condition.
No one has ever removed his helmet to confirm this theory. No one wants to die just yet.
Roton Subree quietly goes about his business, tracking down mid-level bounties, catching them, then fading back
into the shadows. In keeping with this low-key approach, his ship is rather plain-looking and unassuming.

"The Unseen Dagger" is a customized BR-21 Envoy cargo shuttle manufactured by Santhe/Sienar Technologies.
These shuttles are used by small businesses that either can't afford or don't need a full-sized freighter.
These small ships are often used by courier services, delivery companies, and are a common sight in the Outer Rim.
Because of their commonality, spare parts are easy to find, though they're not always in the right color.
Subree's ship features a few modifications, most notably beefier engines, hyperdrive and missile launchers.
The cargo section was halved to better conceal twin folding missile racks, equipped with a total of 14 missiles.
4 additional missiles are tucked under the front cowlings at either side of the cockpit.
Two fixed forward-facing turbolasers provide a sizeable deterrent to anyone bent on snooping a little too closely.
Since access to the cockpit is no longer possible from the cargo section due to the installation of the concealed
missile rack system, the whole canopy is hinged and opens upward and forward.
The rest of the cargo section is used for stashing the bounty or bounties (1 sitting or 2 standing).

His bounty for today is Slarr Noxio, semi-notorious bookie and fixer of Odupiendo races.
Looks like ol' Slarr got greedy and tried to make off with the winnings. Better luck next time, Slarr!
If there is a next time, that is. :)

More photos of the Unseen Dagger, including its nifty concealed missile rack launch system can be seen in

The Vagabond Jester III is the third in the evolution fo this ship (obviously). The sides of the nose open out to allow access to the Prisoner containment pod, which then lowers to the ground. Rahk-Zadja is quick-witted and mean. They say she is the most spiteful Fark in the quadrant. Her latest bounty, Governor Fetiggio Profigliano, will be held for the ransom of 17M credits. The VJ3 armament is stellar and the retractable landing gear provides a docking port for Chorrkbot during transport.

First, thanks so much for opening the contest to new members (which I only realized a week ago). Below is my entry into the Madness:

The Forsaken starfighter was designed primarily for speed, as most the sucessful bounty hunter is usually the one that gets there first. It is equiped with rotating laser turrets on the foward wings, as well as power canons on the tail wings.

The Cerean bounty hunter Bando-Kai (also known as "The Forsaken One"). Although showing the potential in the force, he was denied training due to his impulsive nature and desire for swift action in any situation. Instead, he sought out training in Echani combat methods, and is known for dual-wielding modified Echani vibroswords in battle.

The containment pod being loaded through the rear cargo hatch.

My entry for the MOC Madness 2010 Building Tournament is:

Kadil-fit Rayik and The Flippant Hawk.

Kadil-fit Rayik, the Flippant Hawk's pilot. Once a slave to a starfighter production corporation, he found himself in the bounty hunting business when confronted with the debt from the extensive surgery he had to go through due to injuries relating to his escape from slavery.

The Flippant Hawk was originally a prototype for a scout ship developed during the Clone Wars. When stolen, the design was given up, but this ship has changed hands enough times to be hardly recognizable from the original. The modifications include a class 1.5 hyperdrive, forward-mounted ion cannons and a second set of sensors.

This is the chamber for captured bounty, which was modified from the previous gear-storage unit. You can also see the retractable landing gear.

More pictures of The Flippant Hawk can be found here:

Here is my entry in this great contest.

The ship SkyHunter was once a rebel Head hunter. The ship has been modified many times. Some notable modifications include the addition of many weapons and the heavy Armour added to the cockpit.
Tom Shalen was a slave on the planet Tatooine. He escaped and vowed to become the greatest bounty hunter ever.
His Bounty Osama Ben Laden is being held in a specialized cryogenic Chamber that freezes the bounty without injuring it.
