LEGO Star Wars: Save the Galaxy

Here's on of the reasons I don't have a ot of time to do comics around here these days:

LEGO Star Wars: Save the Galaxy is a book from Scholastic that I illustrated last year. It's kind of a goofy comic retelling of the movie. It was both fun and a nightmare to work on (ask me about it if you ever see me in person!). It should be in the Children's area of most book stores and it's at Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Lego-Star-Wars-Save-Galaxy/dp/0545301017/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1296612600&sr=8-1. I'll admit, $10 for 12 pages is kind of a hefty price (for some weird reason, it's a board book), but this might be your only chance to get LEGO Star Wars comics by in print! (Except I did have a couple illustration in some of last year's sets!)

Greg Hyland illustrated a childrens' picture book! Can it be?! This is amazing Greg, thanks for sharing. Whoever hired you to illustrate for this one sure struck gold.

Saw the cover a couple months and figured you might be the artist. Congratulations on the branching out! :D

Now maybe Scholastic will follow up with a collection of your LEGO Star Wars Comic Strips! ;)

nice! we saw one remaining copy of this one next to a similarly sized lego city book. i guess star wars is out-selling city by a large margin. my son loved it. congrats on the "legit" work. :D

There was talk about doing 5 more books (one for all the remaining movies), but I don't know if this is actually going to happen. And if it does, I doubt it would happen with me... although I'd love to do it!

Picked one up for half off during the Great Barnes & Noble coupon run last weekend. It's a neat book. If you have kids, they'll probably be able to pick one up at their school Book Fair for about $9.99

Greg - I noticed Scholastic now has another one coming out: Lego Star Wars: Darth Maul's Mission
Did you illustrate that one too? (I can't find any credits anywhere yet.)

Greg ??! I´m curious too! Are you the artist of ´ Lego Star Wars: Darth Maul's Mission ´ too ? And why the heck is Scholastic not honoring their artists (by naming these guys within the book)?

I bought that and it did have creator names in the front of the book, none of which are Greg. Much like the PT vs OT, this new book is about 60% as much fun as save the galaxy.
