I think the link will speak for it self! :)

I haven't seen this episode of Clone Wars, so I don't really get the whole Pirate thing, but Hey!, it's a cheap way to get Obi-Wan! ;)

Thoughts:
Nice faces! (excwept for Obi-Wan's, of course)
Nice torsos! (ditto)
And, whattdya know, the model doesn't look half-bad either.
I hope this'll be at a $40 price point, but we'll see . . .

Not bad. I'm not a huge fan of the Clone Wars sets, but this has a few interesting bits. The "hidden wheels for repulsorlift movement" could be a cool edition. I believe they're a new feature we haven't seen in Star Wars LEGO before.

Though I don't have the set, I know they used wheels to simulate the repulsorlifts in the Republic Fighter Tank set.

Not to mention the new MTT.

I still wish they kept the swords and pegleg. :(

Anyway, looks to be a nifty set with cool figures and fun play features. Pop, there goes the pirate!

Looks great! One of the few CW sets I'll actually buy. The red jacket torso could work for a "Thriller" Michael Jackson. The vehicle looks pretty rad as well. Reminds me of the junk planet from Force Unleashed, and probably as close to a post-apoc style set we'll get. :D

I've seen only a couple Clone Wars episodes. Haven't seen the movie. Don't care too much for most of the designs that didn't originate with the Prequel Trilogy or OT

That said, I WANT THIS SET. RIGHT FREAKING NOW. Too cool.

The figures make it and I want it! And that is not something I can say for most Clone Wars sets.

I don't watch the cartoon either but the model is pretty good from a Lego perspective and definitely has a good assortment of pieces. The biggest draw to me are the figs, especially their alien faces. Great for all kinds of things.

I saw the original images of this set, and I wasn't overly impressed. And with the recently released images, I'm still not considering buying it. Maybe because the Clones Wars episode which it was on, was in my opinion, not that great. But you never know, it does have a pretty neat design, so I might decide to pick this one up.

I did not like the original pictures of this set, but now it looks very nice! But it is a Target store exclusive so it will probably be as hard to find in Canada as the Republic Tank, which I never found even one.

If it's a Target exclusive, I'm betting it will be $50 but hoping for $40.

Looks more like the light bley color...definitely not the standard pistol color though.

I don't know what this set is.
I don't want to know what this set is.
The set stinks in my opinion.
Perhaps I'm just not up to date on the whole expanded universe thing, but this set is just rotten.
Wouldn't even buy it on special.

Why can't TLC put their efforts and money into getting some new lines like Star Trek, more Fan Based Creations, Futurama, The Simpsons, they'd make a whole lot more if they did... I still love Star Wars number 1, but this set is just laaaame .... Bring on a UCS Star Ship Enterprise.... and a spock

Duckman: I have no idea what the hell it is either, but I think its awesome. I don't see it as a Star Wars ship; I see it as a Steampunk parts pack.

That said, this is one of the few sets that I might actually buy this year. My interest in Lego has been waning, but this one still appeals to me.

As much as we collectors like to think we're the most important of LEGO's customers, the reality is that LEGO is still a child's toy marketed to and primarily purchased by/for children. We collectors are just a drop in the bucket compared to LEGO's overall market and right now sets based on the #1 toy property of 2008 and the #1 rated boys' show across all television in its timeslot are a much smarter market for LEGO to be in than three franchises marketed towards teens and adults, one of which is no longer producing new material. In reality, they'd be making much less money off of most any licensed franchise than they are off of The Clone Wars cartoon right now.
