Toys'R'Us Actually Has a Decent Sale

I received an email last night describing an unadvertised sale that Toys'R'Us brick and mortar stores. I drove down to my local store last night and can verify that the sale is true. Right now through November 23, select sets are marked down 50% off*. The reason for that asterisk is that TRU typically inflates their price up beyond MSRP, but even with their additional markup, the final sale price is still 30-36% off of MSRP. For example, I was able to pick up The Lone Ranger set 79108 Stagecoach Escape is priced $39.99. Normal MSRP for the set is $29.99. Final out-the-door price before tax was just $19.99, 33% off! I also picked up 79105 Baxter Robot Rampage for $24.99 (normal MSRP $39.99), and 75014 Battle of Hoth for $29.99 (normal MSRP $49.99). The list below isn't comprehensive of everything that's on sale, so use the price scanner to double check. Good luck!

Legends of Chima Eris' Interceptor 19.99
City Satellite Launch Pad 11.99
City Tanker Truck 10.99
Lone Ranger Constitution Train Chase 64.99
Castle The Gatehouse Raid 17.49
Star Wars Battle of Hoth 29.99
Star Wars Desert Skiff 17.49
Technic Tractor 22.49
Lone Ranger Stag ecoach Escape 19.99
Lone Ranger Colby City Showdown 32.49
Castle Gold Getaway 10.99

My local TRU did not have the Castle gold getaway on sale, but did have the army builder Forest Ambush on sale for 25% off (about 9.74) so I still saved a few bucks. Was hoping for other sets on sale but nothing else for castle or space

I was heading by there after work to pick up the advertised Baxter Robot... felt like a shopping spree when they had all of those great sets 50% and mostly still in stock. Thanks for the post!

Oh... btw, spend $100 and get $10 off coupon worked.

Ugh. I wish I'd known the $10 of $100 worked with this. I picked up Colby City, Baxter Robot and Hoth, but Hoth rang up at $35 instead of $30. Still a reasonable deal, but it's irritating how each store can do whatever they want.

Where does one find the $10 of $100 coupon? I wouldn't mind heading back there for the Lone Ranger stuff.

According to the price scanner, the sale goes on until Nov 23. I ended up paying only $40 for two Battle of Hoth sets if you count the two $10 gift cards I got last week with the Palpatine sale!

Only checked the Battle of Hoth but didn't ring up to be 50% off, bummer :(
From the chicagoland area.

I cant remember exactly, but think it came as a sticker/card on the catalog and/or mailer about a week ago. I probably got the mailer because of the toyrus rewards program.

Good lookin' out, Ace. I scored a few 50% off items this afternoon at my local TRU as well as a free Creator Christmas tree.
