Those are some great deals! I was expecting a sale like this after christmas. Four months late Lego. Four months late. The Indiana Jones sets are already sold out so I think I'll pass but it's very tempting just buying 25 of the impulse sets for under $25 and cheap shipping. Isn't there also a $5 off coupon going on now?

The General grievous price makes me sick for buying 2 at $45 each. :S Oh well. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

looks like i now have 3 general grievous sets (i already had two as well). I'm ashamed to admit how much money i just spent.

i tried the free keychain and the $5 codes, but neither worked with my order.

thanks for the tip!

Typically discount codes cause sets that are on sale to revert to their non-sale price.

And, for the record, there were a few things that went on sale after Christmas. However, the real action was in LEGO stores, lots of stuff on sale there right after Christmas.

You serious? I just ordered those two sets off of [email protected] at regular price last week.

Those two were both sold out by the time I saw this thread anyway...just a couple hours after it was first posted. So getting them at retail isn't bad considering they'll probably jump past retail price not too long down the road.

Oh ya your right, they are sold out already. Now, I don't feel as bad for paying full price last week.

These prices are not reflected in lego stores. I thought I'd save on shipping and found it was a wasted trip. I think they'll update at some point soon but they said they will get an email notifying the new price changes.

Yeah last time Lego had a sale this big (9v track) I called up the Lego store and they didn't have them on sale that day. I think they got the email the day after and then put the items on sale.

If you're still looking, there's plenty of 9v track at my store for 4.95.

I was just wondering if anyone was able to get the Motorcycle Chase or Lost Tomb sets. I placed an order before I saw this thread and figured I would actually get these since they were still listed for a while after I placed my order. Unfortunately, I got the notice today that the rest of my order has shipped but those 2 sets were cancelled as they ran out of stock. This happens every time I place an order for a good sale item. So I'm wondering if anyone ever actually gets these sale items that only appear for a short time!?

Hmmmmm.....

On [email protected] they removed the Motorcycle Chase and The Lost Tomb sets.....
Is this a retirement i smell??? Or is it just a mistake??

EDIT: The sets are missing on both the Canadian site and US...

Given the proximity this disappearance has to the slew of new Indy sets at similar price-points being released this summer, I'd say you can count on retirement. The "2-year-rule" has become more and more unpredictable in recent years. Given the increased licensing and large volume of selection across themes, that's not too surprising. My recommendation to anyone who doesn't have these sets and wants them is to start hitting up Bricklink or retail sources ASAP.

I wouldn't say they are being taken down due to an Indy retirement. New sets have been confirmed. It's just clearing out old stock.

Salvaging through what's left, I got Grievous and Agents Mission 4.

EDIT: ah, I see what you meant der.

Draykov, i totally agree with you. Trust me, these sets ARE retired sets now. Retail stores will no longer be able to order them anymore as they are not being produced any longer. What they have left is from their warehouse/storage. They have NO CHANCE of getting this set back. Called a shop at home rep and they said these sets are now discontinued. They are preparing spaces for the new LEGO indiana jones sets. The next indiana jones will probably be temple escape. However, they still have a decent amount to last a few months. But you never know...

Here are some sets that are now discontinued: (In other words, they will start to be harder to find now)
Star Wars:
7667 Imperial Dropship
7668 Rebel Scout Speeder
7671 AT-AP walker
7672 Rogue Shadow

Indiana Jones:
7626 Temple Escape
7621 Lost Tomb
7620 Motorcycle Chase
7662 Race for Stolen Treasure.
