BCS Guidelines - Read and be Terrified...

It's like the old BCS, except the 2.0 makes it fancy. Wondering why you can't post here? Check out the rules and expectations, and it all should be made clear...

BCS Guidelines - Read and be Terrified...

Alright, homeslices and homeslicettes, welcome to the Bantha Coffee Shop, version 2.0. Like all 2.0 things, that means it's different, new, improved, and most likely has a few bugs that will delete all of your files. What does this mean to you? The BCS is still the place for the off-topicy stuff and discussions.

First things first, let's put up a disclaimer about that... we're a LEGO forum, first and foremost. We're about talking about that hobby, enjoying the brick, and building things. Keep this in mind when you're looking into being here. If you're joining the forum to talk here, this may not be the place for you. Not to say we're chasing members away, but if you live here, there are plenty of places on the internet that are a better fit for the things we call off-topic. And because of that, we're not going to create any sub-forums, specialized threads, or the like.

We're also going to be a bit more... "permissive" in here than we were on the old forums. That isn't to say to start spamming and flaming it up. As of now, we're not going to lock or block threads on subjects that we frowned on in the old forum, but know this. The BCS is a privelage. If you can't deal with being here, and the topics going on, we will take your access away here. That being said, all of the normal CoC rules still apply. So no flaming other members or just creating general complaint threads.

Another basic rule... if a thread doesn't get any activity, let it die. No bumping threads here, because I'm sure there will be a lot of things. This isn't a blog, and if you're the only one talking, hit up Blogger and start one. Also, while we're being a bit more permissive, that doesn't mean you can incite a riot on the forums. Think before posting.

Other than that, enjoy. And don't eat the blue snow.
If the above post didn't offend you, you're probably reading it wrong.
