Weetabix Lego Promotion from the 1980s [UK]

Postby Jabba the Taff » Thu Jun 11, 2009 4:14 pm

I really hope someone can help me. I'm convinced I once had a Lego set from a Weetabix offer in Britain, in the mid to late 80s. The set was of one of the Neet Weet Gang. You can see an advert here

I'm sure this character was 'wearing' blue shorts and a red and white hooped top. The eyes were this piece, and the mouth was this piece, as 2 x 4 brick.

Does anyone remember this set? Please tell me I'm not imagining it. I'm pretty sure I still have all the pieces so I'd like to get the instructions to remake it. I've done a pretty thorough search and can't find anything on it. Brickset and Peeron have other Weetabix promotional sets, including the holiday house (1484) I also got, but no mention of this one.
