Amen to that! It can't be easy setting all of this up, especially on such a tight timeframe.

got my votes in... wasn't easy! I'm impressed that for 64 slots builds were posted... that's a really good turn out, i honestly expected at least 4 or 5 uncontested builds. Nice work everyone!

Can we post a voting reminder on the homepage? I feel like members not participating in the contest may not remember to vote.

A lot of these contests were pretty tough to call--so many inventive and original build ideas, but I guess that it comes with the territory in this kind of contest. Thanks to everyone for bringing their A-game, even if it made for some hard decisions.

I had a question about the voting--I'm guessing that the standard rule applies about not voting for yourself (so don't vote in your own contest, unless you want to vote for the other guy)?

Fettman104's hud sticker never came with that piece. I checked bricklink and didn't find that piece with that sticker.

As long as it's an official sticker and isn't cut, I believe it's fine.

Yep. Stickers are separate elements, there's nothing wrong with putting them on different parts. The drawback is they're one or two uses at best.

I've been getting server errors all morning preventing me from posting the update. :(

Whew! Glad that I interpretted the rules correctly. Would've hated to put in all that work and end up DQed.

If anyone is wondering that sticker came from 7050 Alien Defender

Wait, that's a standard rule? Never knew that. The only time I don't vote for myself is when I honestly don't feel like my build is good enough to make the cut. Which has certainly happened, I didn't vote for myself in the LAST contest I was in, but I didn't think that was any kind of a rule...

Ace, Onions, Solo:
This is absolutely the best contest you guys have hosted. Absolutely perfect: really spot on! I love the concept, it's genius, and lovely to see such creativity! i only wish I had had time to enter. My lower case A fighter from a couple of years ago is still stuck on top of the wardrobe gathering dust, and I would have loved to have got the bricks out1

Always Be Creative. (Didn't enter.) Fairplay.

Massive respect to all the builders

Admittedly, I haven't participated in many contests, but I wasn't aware of that rule, don't think I've seen it posted before. I would usually vote for myself no matter what, that way I get at least 1 vote.

Right, that's all that voting voted for then. Slightly disappointed that you can't see the poll results though, I was looking forward to staring at my results like a slightly-panicked sphinx for two consecutive days.

Nope. Seems like the polite thing to do but you're free to vote for whoever you want.

I never vote for myself because I'm a gentleman. :p

So, yeah. Got my votes in. A couple of tough choices there.

It seems to be an understood rule on EB, so I guess I assumed it was here, too. Sorry for the mass confusion...
In this case, though, it looks like I have one more vote to place ;)
