MOC Madness 2013 Round 1: Jay Fourke vs Marty Bishop

Postby Solo » Sun Nov 17, 2013 2:25 am

This is now the polling thread for the ships shown above. This poll will be open for exactly 48 hours so get those votes in quick! You can still view the entries below. Contestants: this is a friendly reminder that no changes are allowed after the deadline, so your posts will be locked and if any of the photos in them change you will be disqualified.

Little Marty Bishop's first assignment was a bi-thrust concept fighter, designed to instill as much fear into the pilot as possible. Seated in the location of the highest possible danger with massive, twin hyper-drives rocketing him forward at the speed of light, Marty was reconsidering his decision to complain about taking the garbage out back home.

3rd Image (let me know if I need to take this one down, since I combined my Pilot and Polling images - I just posted it so that I'd still have 3 showing)

Thanks for the contest, FBTB! So fun to see all the entries so far!

My only hope, by the way, is that Jake forgets the deadline or is traveling - have you folks seen his ?!? It's incredible: full of amazing fighters. I'm honored to be in the same thread as a master like him.

Formerly a prototype CIS bomber based off a captured Jedi Interceptor, it was mothballed when the war ended and subsequently found and modified by its current pilot. Main ordinance is the bomb chute on the underside, but a single laser cannon is mounted underneath the cockpit for point-defense. The cockpit is able to freely rotate, giving the pilot an excellent view of the the things he's dropping bombs on.

Yep, it looks like a B. How about that?

Pilot shot. (Don, let me know if this is allowable or not, I have a much clearer picture of the cockpit if need be.

More pictures in the .

Agrahmann, thanks for that shoutout! I'm still always surprised when other people are impressed by my reputation... I'm just another guy building lego. For what it's worth, here's my effort for this round, I wish you luck.

Thanks for the heads up, I fixed it and reset the poll so to the one person who managed to vote with the wrong second entry up there you need to vote again.

This is one of the most difficult votes in the round. So hard to decide!
