I find it odd that you would use those two photos in your submission, since neither of them follow the instructions, yet you have photos on flickr stream which would be perfect... :|

To reiterate,
How To Enter:
Submit two photos in a reply to this thread before the deadline:
• The first featuring your model in flight mode, which will be used as the polling image.
• The second a close up of the minifig in the cockpit or posed with the model.

Hi, I have a question.

Do the engines have to be traditional jet thrusters, or a bladed turbine, or can it have something futuristic, but still looks like a power source that emits energy for movement?

Thought it might interest some to know that in the current issue of the lego magazine, they are running a similar contest to build an avengers vehicle (land sea or air) So if you happen to make a moc fitting the criteria for both contests, you could enter it for both. Prizes in the lego mag are 1 of 5 100 dollar lego gift cards. The contest doesn't say anything about age restrictions either. So if you are on the fence about building something for the wings of justice, this could be all the more reason to try.

Here is my entry for the contest: Ant-man!

When he's tired of riding saddle on some winged ants, Henry Pym enjoys sitting at the helm of this beauty! With manuverable jets and a comfy cockpit, Ant-man is all set to take is ant buddies for a joyride!

madLEGOman, nice fig and fantastic flyer. thanks for the heads up about the Lego magazine contest, too.

Dodge, the micro Antman gave me a huge smile.

pasukaru, I was debating whether the red, white, and blue vehicle I've crafted would be Captain America's or Wonder Woman's. I think yours captures better the type of plane that SHIELD would provide to Cap, so I'll submit mine as Wonder Woman's.

Nice job all-around, it's entertaining seeing the entries get posted.

Lots of awesome craft =3 I like the 60's vibe given off by the ant-man one. I wish I had the bricks/time/ imagination to attempt one.

The Wide Area Remote Battle Intel Recon Drone (WARBIRD) was built by Batman for Wonder Woman, enabling the Amazon Princess to more broadly project power in the fight against crime and injustice. The WARBIRD can be operated remotely, but it's often piloted-in-vehicle by Wonder Woman. The jump seat suspended underneath the fuselage is used to transport a passenger, prisoner, or mission-specific payloads.

While Wonder Woman's invisible jet provides unparalleled stealth capability, the garish WARBIRD packs a loud, powerful, jet-powered offensive wallop with wing-mounted missiles and maser cannons. If the WARBIRD alone cannot force a belligerent enemy into submission, it's used as a remotely directed distraction, while Wonder Woman delivers her terms personally. With her fists. KA-POW!

I basically finished my model on Saturday, but I've had finals all week so I haven't had a chance to add the finishing touch. I'm sure others have the same excuse.
