I know who's getting my vote. Very sweet MOC, Fat Tony! This is beyond awesome. . .

Not the smartest question asked, but when we say 48x48x48 stud limit, are we talking about studs that are lying flat side by side, or connected and stacked?

Are we allowed to create a "landing platform" like the yellow maintenance rig pictured at the bottom of the following photo of the 2006 B-Wing Fighter set #6208? Certain ship geometry might require it.

when someone says 2x4 brick, it means two studs across by 4 studs wide.

when studs are stacked, that would be considered plate height and not stud length.

Lol... every time I think I'm done, I check the entries here, and decide I need to get back to work. Lots of great stuff!

  :D XD

Thanks for being crystal clear. Good thing I'm not that silly ILM designer who came up with a wacky B-Wing Fighter design. Cuz that guy's crazy. Whew.

No really...challenges are good! That's the beauty of Lego. Back to the drawing board.

Ehh, I've decided that I'm not going to participate in this. There are already too many good entries that make my entry look stupid.

Oh don't feel that way, I'd like to see your MOC! I didn't like the way my entry turned out but I entered anyway. :D

Too bad, already apart. I suppose I could make something tiny as a "just cuz" entry.

I've only seen 2 or 3 good mocs so far, 'no offense to anyone' but even though you've taken it apart already you still have until the end of August. I really want to see entrys from anyone, and I'm sure you could place in the brackets....

Fine, I'll put together a little something-something.

Don't be too discouraged. Half the fun of these contests is to see what others will come up with. Look at all the variations from the last contest. You never know what will strike a cord with the other members when they vote. Be creative and have fun with it.

no.

What about the stands made by Gerald, Infomaniac, and Blackknight? Are "landing platforms" that are simply for hold up the ship and have no real aesthetic value themselves, such as they made, allowed, or are those entries disqualified?

Unobtrusive stands like that are fine. The thing in the B-Wing set is more of a maintenance dock than a landing platform, since the B-wing lands on it's side anyways.

Introducing the pacifist bounty hunter Aryn Kosha. Despite the gun, she never kills, only incapacitates.

And her vessel, the Range Quene.

And her captive containment seat, with a pleasantly sedated captive.

He's so mysterious that even I don't know his name. How about that. ;)
